Why, oh why, did we elect such a bunch of incompetent, anti-Constitution, anti-American, inexperienced embarrassments? Wasn’t there something good on “American Idol” or “Dancing With The Stars” that night to keep the uninformed, the brain dead, and the short-attention-span-theater folks occupied that day?  These folks say Sarah Palin was ignorant?

A few months ago, The Chosen One bowed before the Saudi king, but said he was just checking his shoes or leaning forward because he’s taller than the Saudi king or some other lie. What’s his lie going to be this time as he has been photographed bowing VERY deeply before Japan’s Emperor Akihito. In Japan, a low bow such as this are considered to be a sign of deference to a SUPERIOR!

When President Obama’s “Senior Administration Official” was questioned regarding the deep, apologetic bow to Emperor Akihito, the response was that Obama was “observing protocol.” Really? Then why is it that none of the other world leaders who greeted the Emperor gave such a bow? They simply shook hands like they do with any other world leader. And so goes the Asian leg of the completely apologetic “AMERICA SUX WORLD TOUR 2009!”

Holy schnikey! How much do you think the American taxpayers have shelled out for every automobile that GM is selling this year? If you said about $10,700.00, then you’re correct. That’s on top of the price paid by the folks who bought the car, and yet GM is still losing over $1,000,000,000.00 per quarter. Do you see what happens when unions and government are in control?

The media and the Democrats, but I repeat myself again, keep trying to slam Sarah Palin for her assertion that the Obamacare plans would include “death panels.” After you read this opinion article from the Wall Street Journal, which was sent to me by Senator John Cornyn, you’ll see that Sarah Palin was very much correct. Will this information be published or broadcasted by the Noo Yawk Slimes, El Lay Times, See BS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN, ABC, Washington Post, or any of the other “main stream” media outlets? Yeah, right. That’ll happen about the same time as Teddythedrunk (D-Chappaquiddick) publicly opposes Roe v Wade and all abortions including partial birth ones, and since Teddy’s dead…

Okay, last week the Obama Administration decided that employment in America is going to have to be a priority. On Friday, we found out what they really plan to do about the lack of jobs for Americans. They’re going to (drum roll and trumpet fanfare please) GIVE AMNESTY TO ILLEGAL ALIENS! Yes, there’s 14,000,000 jobs right there that could go to Americans, but the Democrats would rather continue coddling people who have proven themselves to be lawbreakers. The goal, of course, is to get 14,000,000 more votes for the Democrats, along with all of the extended family members that those 14,000,000 will be allowed to sponsor across the border.

Remember all those jobs that the Administration was claiming they “saved” and how well they said the “stimulus” was working? They even have websites dedicated to these “facts.” There’s a slight problem with the data presented. Okay, there are a BUNCH of problems with the data. Among them are notices of successful use of “stimulus” funds in Congressional districts that do not exist. Since when do US Territories, such as the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and the Mariana Islands, have Congressional districts?

From 2003 to 2009, conservatives were constantly upset with George W. Bush for his liberal big government, big spending ways. Heck, about the only things we agreed with him on were tax cuts for all taxpayers, appointing judges and justices who believe in the actual Constitution instead of the liberal living-breathing one, and his fighting back in the war of Islam vs. the rest of the world. Well guess who made a speech warning of the danger of huuuuuuuuge government. Yep, Jorge W. Booosh.

Earlier this year, President Obama made his first major decision regarding our military in the long term. The decision was to end the F-22 Raptor fighter program. His reasoning, and that of SecDef Gates, was that our biggest potential adversary, China, wouldn’t have any aircraft capable of competing with any of our current advanced military aircraft until well past the year 2010. Meanwhile, while President Obama is over in China, the Chinese announce that they are about to start testing a 5th generation fighter to compete with the F-22 and F-35. Can you say “D’OH!”???

Dan Calabrese fans, rest easy. Your favorite North Star National writer has delivered another gem. This time, Dan puts into simple terms the newest bit of lunacy in Obanomics. Taking an IOU from your left pocket and putting it in your right pocket doesn’t reduce the amount you owe, does it?

Dan turned around and gave us a nice present on his birthday with a funny, yet pointed, column about the lame stream media’s obsession with Sarah Palin.

How anti-American are unions in general, and the ACORN and Obama affiliated SEIU in particular? How about investigating and filing a grievance against the city of Allentown, PA, because Kevin Anderson has spent over 200 hours clearing a walking and biking trail in a city park as community service while working for his Eagle Scout qualification. How dare one of those eeeevillll right wing zealots in the homophobic, patriotic, and (GASP!) Christian-based Boy Scouts actually heed President Obama’s call to volunteerism. That’s what union goons are paid to do during their working hours when the media has been informed to publicize their good deeds!

Where is our nanny-state heading? Once again we get a foreshadowing of what’s to come from the formerly-free nation now known as Britainistan. Don’t think for a moment that Queen of the House Red Nanny P-Lousy wouldn’t support that kind of legislation. The hat tip goes to Poll Katz e-mailer “Ginny”.

When it comes to the Administration’s decision to try Islamic terrorists in New York City, the columns of Andy McCarthy and Kevin McCullough pretty much sum up my thoughts. This has absolutely zero to do with actual justice, but rather is all about keeping the eeeeeevillllllls of the Bush Administration in the news for at least one more election cycle while destroying our intelligence gathering capabilities and possibly letting terrorists go free. Of course Barack Obama and the Affirmative Action Attorney General know nothing about terrorists going free…Ayers, Dohrn, Weather Underground, F.A.L.N….

On the subject of Islamic terrorists, the Ft. Hood shooter tried to get some of the soldiers that he had treated prosecuted for war crimes. The “war crimes” in question were probably the act of returning fire from Islamic illegal combatants. Never mind the fact that nothing said to him by any soldier in his care could be admissible. There is the doctor-patient privilege to consider. Meanwhile, his co-workers and superiors admit that the shooter signed his e-mails with “Praise Be To Allah”.

Step, by step, by step, by… Once again proving that the Constitution doesn’t matter one bit to them, the Obama Administration is pushing to take over regulation of all of the nation’s subway and light rail systems. The Constitution only gives the federal gummint the authority to deal with INTERSTATE transportation and commerce. If those subway and light rail systems don’t cross state lines, then there’s nothing about them that the federal gummint can legally regulate. What part of our lives do they NOT want to take over?

The Military Times group of newspapers has published a list of their Top Ten Military Movies of All Time. Their list, from 1 to 10 is: “Saving Private Ryan”, “Black Hawk Down”, “Platoon”, “Apocalypse Now”, “The Fighting Seabees”, “Heartbreak Ridge”, “We Were Soldiers”, “The Hurt Locker”, “Starship Troopers”, and “Full Metal Jacket”. The Crawfish definitely disagrees with numbers 2, 6, 8, and 9. “Black Hawk Down” was really good, but falls outside of my Top Ten. “Heartbreak Ridge” was entertaining, but void of reality. “Starship Troopers”? Puh-leeze. I’ve never even heard of “The Hurt Locker”. So, my dear readers, I will now present The Crawfish’s Top Ten Military movies of All Time, and I invite your comments and your own nominations. From 10 to 2: “The Fighting Seabees”, “Patton”, “Braveheart”, “The Longest Day”, “Apocalypse Now (Redux version)”, “Saving Private Ryan”, “Full Metal Jacket”, “Tora, Tora, Tora”, and “A Bridge Too Far”. Special mention must go to the HBO miniseries “Band of Brothers”, which would definitely be in the top 3 if it was a movie. My NUMBER ONE is…”We Were Soldiers”.
