Well, the days of having a short column because of overwhelming Wacko Jacko coverage are evidently very much OVER!

This week, we lost yet another Hollywood legend and patriotic American. Karl Malden died on Wednesday at age 97. Born of a Czech mother and a Serb father, Malden was famous for such roles as General Omar Bradley in “Patton”, Mitch in “A Streetcar Named Desire” (Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor), PHM2 “Doc” Jones in “The Halls of Montezuma”, Terry Malloy in “On The Waterfront”, Harvey Shoemaker in “The Birdman of Alcatraz”, US Hockey Coach Herb Brooks in “Miracle On Ice”, Detective Mike Stone in the long-running TV series “The Streets of San Francisco”, and as the pitchman for American Express for over 20 years where he made the slogan “Don’t leave home without it” one of the most famous in history. His marriage to Mona Greenberg is one of the longest ever seen in Hollywood, as they wed December 18, 1938, and were separated only by his death 70 ½ years later. During World War II, this great American served as an NCO in the 8th Air Force. Karl Malden was one of the “good guys” in The Crawfish’s book.

It’s starting to look like some of the Republican establishment is finally opening their eyes and reading some of the TEA leaves. Former Congressman Pat Toomey has been working toward the GOP nomination for the Senate seat currently occupied by Arlen S.P.E.C.T.R.E., but the GOP establishment has been working their butts off to find a more “moderate” (aka LIBERAL) candidate. Toomey’s grassroots effort is gaining strength every day, especially with the defection (or should we call it a return to his home) of S.P.E.C.T.R.E. and the rise of the Tea Party movement. The “moderate” candidates see the head of steam he’s getting and are bailing outta the way so they don’t get turned into roadkill.

Townhall commenter “beachmom” sent me this article from Canada Free Press, which lists the groups that are going to get paid to conduct the census. Looks like a job bill for minorities to me, but what would we expect from someone whose political career has been a production of ACORN Chicago?

For those of you who aren’t really up to speed on what precipitated the goings on in Honduras, Neal Boortz has it broken down in an easy to read format. Liberals out there keep referring to it as a “military coup” when in reality it is simply the military abiding by what the national supreme court is ordering. Doc Crawfish, who ain’t related to The Crawfish that we know of except being brothers in conservatism, sent me a little something that goes along with this story. The Crawfish notes that The Chosen One always seems to prefer election fraud. It worked for Him in Corruptionois and nationally. When I’minajihad and the Mad Mullahs rigged the election in Iran, The Golden Child did not even give strong words of support to the people of Iran. Now when Zelaya tries to hold a (rigged) referendum, to make himself dictator, which is in violation of the nation’s constitution, Obama supports Zelaya. Do you see a pattern here?
a) Election fraud in Corruptionois, including getting all opponents removed from the ballot, opens the way for Obama to become a state senator.
b) Election fraud in Corruptionois gives Obama the US Senate seat from Corruptionois.
c) ACORNholes provide hundreds of thousands of illegal voter registrations leading up to the November 2008 elections, while the New Black Panther Party intimidates voters (and Obama later directs the Affirmative Action Attorney General to drop the charges), resulting in an Obama Presidency.
d) Election fraud in the form of finding uncounted ballots in a campaign worker’s car trunk, while counting ballots for one candidate and rejecting ballots for another, all under the supervision of a Minnesota SecState who is an ACORNhole, send a failed radio executive who owes back taxes in multiple states and has broken workers’ rights laws to the Senate, giving the leftists a filibuster-proof majority, while Obama cheers him on.
e) I’minajihad and the Mad Mullahs rig an election, and Obama does NOT support the legitimate winner nor the people of Iran.
f) A leftist in Honduras tries, with Hugo Chavez’s help, to rig an election to violate the nation’s constitution. Well, we all know how much Obama supports constitutions.

a) If you are a leftist who wants to be a dictator, Obama supports you if you rig an election.
b) If you are a leftist who is rigging elections for a leftist who wants to become a dictator, Obama supports you.
c) If you are an Islamic dictator, Obama supports you if you rig an election.

Meanwhile, the new government in Honduras has gone public with news that Venezuelan aircraft loaded with illegal drugs bound for the US were allowed, by Zelaya, to land and refuel nightly. Since the drugs were being sold by Hugo The Red and were probably going to His homies in Chicago and wherever the rest of the black drug gangs (also known as core Democrat voters) are in business, don’t expect The Chosen One to back away from his support of Zelaya.

Just when you thought American retailers couldn’t come up with any promotions that were too stooopid to believe, along comes Sam’s Club. The morons at a Sam’s Club in Maryland, hat tip to Marylander and Poll Katz e-mailer “Ginny”, were promoting their new pharmacy by handing out pill bottles filled with candy to kids entering the store. Yes, kiddies, medicine is CANDY!

The Poll Katz continue to get hat tips, as e-mailer “Terri” sent out the story of the control freak Democrats of Ohio and Chicago not being satisfied with the cameras that send tickets to red light runners. Now they want to put in cameras that check EVERY license plate that passes through intersections. The new system would then check to see if that vehicle has current insurance, and will send out a warning notice, followed by fines if the vehicle owner does not comply. Yes, Big Brother is watching every move you make. Wait, didn’t Roe v. Wade say something about a right of privacy?

As of July 1st, the Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll shows The Chosen One now at a deficit. While 32% of Americans have drunk the Kool-Aid and “strongly approve” of how He has performed as President, 33% now “strongly disapprove.” The polls also indicate that there are more people (by 4%) opposed to the Cap-And-Tax bill than are for it, 42% believe it will hurt the economy (as opposed to only 19% who think it will help), and FIFTY SIX PERCENT oppose higher taxes and/or utility costs to fight the non-existent Glo-Bull Warming. Finally, in a bit of good news, the generic Congressional ballot shows the GOP favored by 2 points.

Townhall commenter USAEAGLE1 gets credit for this bit o’ news out of Akron, Ohio, where the school board is going to use $14,000,000.00 in “stimulus” funds to create 73 teaching positions for special ed and literacy teachers. That equates to $191,780.82 per teacher. The Crawfish wishes Ft Worth, TX, paid that much per teacher, since I that might be my post-Navy job!

Y’all ain’t gonna believe what the metrosexuals at Details Magazine are trying to push now. Obama can make us men better in bed, and much of it is because he isn’t as masculine as Bush and Cheney!

Some details about the contents of the 300+ page amendment package that got airdropped into the Cap-And-Tax bill at 3:09AM the day of the vote are starting to emerge, and of course there is a LOT of pork-barrel spending and obvious vote buying. One Ohio Democrat got $3,500,000,000.00 to spend on a new FEDERAL power authority in her district, which begs the question of why the FEDERAL government needs to be involved in power distribution within a state. If the feds prosecuted Governor Bad Hair Blago for selling The Chosen One’s Senate seat, then why can’t they prosecute Congressional leaders for buying votes with OUR money? This kind of junk is exactly why The Crawfish supports having ALL bills that go through Congress be clean, with no amendments that are not germane to the central point of the bill. All spending such as this should go onto separate bills to be voted upon individually. This was the third item in my 2008 American Tradition Party Platform.

But wait, there’s something even MORE outrageous in that little ol’ 300 page amendment. There is a whole section of that amendment that is BLANK and RESERVED for the Democrats to insert whatever language they want AFTER the bill has been passed. Rep. Joe Barton (R-TX), who was The Crawfish’s representative until the boundaries got changed a few years ago, noted this “placeholder” and mentioned it to Michelle (***sigh***) Malkin. Bawney Fwank (D-gay bars of Taxachusetts) said the blank section will deal with regulations of financial derivatives market associated with reducing carbon emissions, evidently turning carbon credits into something new for the commodities market. Fwank then said, “good system will be in place.” By that he probably means that the fascist-socialist schemes already in the bill will be taken, as Emeril Lagasse would say, “to notches unknown!”

The Cap-And-Tax bill also contains another anti-Constitutional attack on property rights. The REEP program, Retrofit for Energy and Environmental Performance, would force homeowners to retrofit their homes to meet whatever “green” standards Congress comes up with before they can sell their homes. Where does the power-mad Queen of the House Red Nanny P-Lousy come up with the Constitutional authorization for this junk?

CBS’ Chip Reid and The Ancient Ugly One, Helen Thomas, have evidently finally had enough of the arrogance of White House Press Secretary Gibbs and the pre-packaging/scripting of every event that The Chosen One is involved with. Every questioner and every question is pre-arranged so that He doesn’t get blindsided and only gets questions that help Him put forth His agenda. No questions that would put Him on the defensive are allowed to even be contemplated. When Helen Thomas is scolding a DEMOCRAT Administration, you know the bloom is coming off of the rose! Notice how Gibbs tries to avoid the line of questioning and even tries to get the two reporters to give into the pre-screening and picking of the questions, then even tries to get them to shut up and talk to him privately afterwards. Gibbs got SCHOOLED!

When the townhall event took place a couple of hours later, the White House proved Reid and Thomas correct! All but 3 questions were pre-planned. The supposedly random 3 questions came from a member of the Service Employees International Union (a major Obama supporter), a member of Health Care for America Now (lobbying group for Obamacare), and Organizing for America (a wing of the Obama campaign organization), and the most dramatic moment of the event came when cancer patient Debby Smith complained that she wasn’t yet eligible for government care (is she so destitute that she can’t get her own insurance?) and The Chosen One gave her a big hug and said His staff would look into her situation. Debby Smith just so happens to have been the moderator for one of the many townhall meetings that disgraced former Senator Tom “Puff” Daschle ran to generate a report for The Chosen One, before Puff’s nomination was ditched by his tax problems, so she was just another insider and that “wonderful moment” which will be gushed about by the mainstream media was probably also staged.

Some folks think The Crawfish only goes after liberals. Not true. I go after anybody who works against the best interests of the United States. You want proof? Okay, how about the Congresscritters who have been gallivanting around the world on taxpayer-paid vacations while supposedly “working” to make it legal. The cost of these vacations has increased by a factor of TEN since 1995, and has risen 70% just since 2005. This is a bipartisan ripoff of you, the taxpayer, by the same folks who screamed about the auto execs using company planes to go to DC when they were summoned. As you read that article, you will become outraged even more at the unmitigated gall shown by our “public servants.” George Orwell was 100% correct in Animal Farm when he wrote that some PIGS are more equal than others.

Of course, it HAS been quite a while since one of the biggest moonbats of all time, Cynthia McKinney, has been in the news. Now she’s aboard a ship taking supplies to the terrorist-led “palestinians” despite the Israeli naval blockade. Somehow she is surprised that the IDF would actually have the intestinal fortitude to stop, board, and take control of a ship that is violating their territorial waters. For those who don’t know, Cynthia’s last run for Congress was heavily bankrolled by a list of donors with Arabic names and false American addresses.

Will ya look at the moronity of the Followers of the Pedophilic False Prophet! These jerks are protesting the French stance against the subjugation of women by calling for revenge attacks against France. They even refer to the enslavement of their women as “honor” as if the muslim world has any concept of that word. As The Crawfish has stated many times, the Pedophilic False Prophet designed that religion to appeal to the mindset of young, uneducated arab males in order to raise an army that was fanatical for him. Does the terrorist supporting anti-American group known as CAIR wish to make any comments regarding the Religion of Perpetual Outrage and Intolerance here?

The latest stunt by the Washington Post simply has The Crawfish at a loss for words.

Susan Combs, the Comptroller of THE Great State of Texas, has a website up now with information on how the crrap-and-tax legislation could affect Texas. In 2012, which is the first year that the regulations would be in effect (in order to keep Democrats safe in 2010 and into 2012), Texas stands to lose between 135,000 and 277,000 jobs, with the cost to the state being around $6,900,000,000.00.

The US unemployment rate has risen to a 26-year high of 9.5%, but somehow the AP story says that the recession is flashing signs of easing. What signs? Every economic indicator shows the recession deepening, and if the Cap-And-Tax bill and Obamacare get passed it will go to a full-blown DEPRESSION! I guess the AP is trying to show the Administration that they are still in the tank for Obama, as opposed to Chip Reid of CBS and Helen Thomas. The story also says that the recession began in December of 2007, when according to the definition of a recession it actually began around August of 2008. Expect the White House to BLAME BUSH and the “mess we inherited” in 5…4…3…2…

Tell me y’all didn’t see this one coming when some of the details of the musically talented child molester’s death started surfacing. The DEA is now involved in the investigation. Looks like MJ was as screwed up on drugs as Anna Nicole Smith was. Freaks of a feather…

I’m not sayin’ that there’s corrupt lawyers and judges up here in the northeast, but when two judges and a lawyer are convicted on charges from a scheme to send even juveniles with MINOR offenses to detention facilities owned by the lawyer… Since none of the stories about the judges mentioned their party affiliation, it is obvious that they are Democrats, since the Philly-region press would have REPUBLICAN in bold caps as part of the headlines if they belonged to the GOP.

Proving once again that the National Education Association has nothing to do with actual education, but rather is all about the far-left liberal agenda, the NEA is considering a resolution at their convention in San Diego backing everything the heterophobes have been pushing for years, including homomarriage and homosexual adoption. What’s next for the NEA? Supporting pedophilia because so many union teachers have been having sex with students lately? Pushing for NAMBLA to be accepted as a prominent civil rights group? With all of the news of celebrity deaths in the past week, the death of the most decorated aviator in the history of the US Marine Corps was overlooked. Colonel Kenneth L. Reusser passed from this life on June 20th. He was a veteran of WW2, Korea, and Vietnam, and was shot down in all three wars. His decorations included 2 Navy Crosses, 2 Legions of Merit, and 4 times became a member of the Military Order of the Purple Heart. Rest in peace, Colonel.

The Democrats have now officially bought every bit of the upcoming DEPRESSION, thanks to their passage of the massive energy tax called cap-and-trade, despite Americans flooding the Crapitol switchboard with calls at a 10 against to 1 for ratio. During the miniscule amount of debate allowed, they admitted that not a single copy of the whole bill was available in the House chamber. The bill was over 1200 pages long, with a final 300 pages of amendments being added at 3:09AM on Friday. Whatever happened to the promise of having the bills available to the public for FIVE DAYS before any votes? (You mean Obama lied to us, AGAIN?)  These people are no longer “representatives” as they have become agents of Obama and P-Lousy. Just what we need, another Senator who believes in raising taxes and sending American jobs overseas. The Republican Party needs to go the way of the Whigs.

How much does the Democratic Party hate our nation? Well, since they have lost control of the State Senate in Noo Yawk, they refuse to even stand for the Pledge of Allegiance. I can only imagine what Queen of the House Red Nanny P-Lousy is gonna do when the GOP takes back the US House. She’ll throw the hissy fit of the ages!

Friday afternoon, Mrs. Crawfish and I heard the 9-1-1 call from Michael Jackson’s residence. We both immediately recognized a bit of obvious medical malpractice in the description of what was going on. You see, Mrs. Crawfish and I are both long-time CPR instructors. The caller said that the victim (Jackson) was with his personal doctor who had been performing CPR, but also said that the victim was “He’s on the bed, sir. He’s on the bed.” CPR is NOT performed on a soft surface! You cannot perform proper chest compressions if the victim is on a soft, padded surface! The 9-1-1 operator even told the caller to get the victim onto the floor before starting CPR. I sent notice of this to Sean Hannity at Fox News, and sure enough saw it being mentioned on Fox News Saturday morning.

The Supreme Court made the only possible ruling in the case of Ricci v. DeStefano, by ruling in favor of the firefighters who actually studied for the test instead of relying upon the color of their skin for promotion purposes. Of course, the four liberal SCOTUS Justices sided with the Affirmative Action SCOTUS nominee, with the ACLU’s own Ruth Bader Ginsburg leading the anti-Constitutionalists charge with her dissent, which in part stated “Congress endeavored to promote equal opportunity in fact, and not simply in form.. .The damage today’s decision does to that objective is untold.” Did the black firefighters have the same OPPORTUNITY to study for the promotion exam? Yes, they did. There already was equal OPPORTUNITY, but that doesn’t guarantee equal RESULT!

Corruption and sleaze run in the family when the family happens to be made up of Democrat politicians. The Kennedy family has always been world renown crooks, rum-runners during Prohibition, buying Congressional seats, and getting away with rape and manslaughter, if not murder. Well, now we have the Conyers family, made up of long-time Congresscritter John (a union thug tool) and his wife Monica, who has now plead guilty to federal bribery charges and faces up to five years in prison. How long until the Obama-Holder team wipes away the conviction or pardons her?

The Democrats and their union thug bosses keep saying that there would be no intimidation tactics used against people who would be otherwise opposed to voting in favor of unionization of workplaces. Well, here’s what actually happened to someone who opposed a corrupt union in her workplace. Hat tip to Townhall commenter “beachmom.”

The Speaker of the Californication Assembly, in an interview published over the weekend, said that conservative talk radio is made up of terrorists who threaten Republicans into voting the way they do. Yep, standing up for the state or national constitutions is terrorism.

The folks in charge of the Iranian elections supposedly recounted a “random” 10% of the ballots and declared that the results were validated. Of course, they really hand-picked the 10%, and probably didn’t even count them.

Bernard Madoff was sentenced to 150 years in prison for his $30,000,000,000.00+ swindling scheme, although the next higher court will probably reduce the sentence to somewhere around 30-40 years. The Crawfish isn’t sure how many people he defrauded, but the number is in the hundreds. I would have used the following formula to figure out his sentence: 3 months for each victim. If the rumored number of victims is correct, then I believe the sentence would have ended up around 125 years anyway.

President Obama has announced even more regulations that intrude upon your daily life. Where does He get off telling Americans what kind of light bulbs they can buy?

The President of Honduras illegally tried to change his nation’s constitution, with the assistance of Hugo Chavez. The nation’s military and Supreme Court said “NO!” When he tried to fire the head of the military, the courts again said “NO!” The military was ordered to remove him and sent him packing. A few folks are calling for his reinstatement, and they are all of similar political stripes: Hugo Chavez, Fidel Castro, Daniel Ortega, the OAS, Hillary!, and The Chosen One.

This week the US and the world lost one half of one of the greatest comedy duos of all time. Ed McMahon was much more than the sidekick to Johnny Carson, commercial pitchman, and television host. He was also one from the generation of stars who actually served their nation, in his case as a Marine fighter pilot during WW2 and Korea, instead of denigrating the military and our nation. Rest in peace, Marine. Your service and your entertainment will be long remembered.

The Crawfish calls on all conservatives to BOYCOTT all malls owned by Simon Property Group. The Atlanta Tea Party organization, which had one of the biggest Tax Day events, had a great event scheduled for July 4th, on private property owned by Macy’s, but at the last minute Simon Property Group pulled the plug on the event, citing “reciprocal property easement agreements.” This was done late in the game with the purpose of not giving the Tea Party group enough time to find another suitable location, effectively scuttling what would have been possibly the biggest Tea Party event yet. Simon, whose owners are HEAVY Democrat supporters, evidently used articles posted in blogs to justify their actions. The Crawfish wonders why a company that owns malls would be so stoooopid as to support Democrats, when Democrat economic actions are sure to kill the economy, which is already showing in fewer customers at all malls. BOYCOTT SIMON PROPERTY GROUP!

Here we go with another attack on the American people by the Democratic Party. Queen of the House Red Nanny P-Lousy is trying to bring the cap-and-trade legislation to the floor of the House on Friday for a vote, when as Representative Kay Granger (R-TX) reports, it was still being written behind closed doors on Wednesday, was over 1,200 pages long already, and had not been reviewed by any House committees. So much for transparency in government. This bill would raise the average household electric bill by over $100 per month, and would wreck the economy even more than the Obama/P-Lousy team has already done.

Some Democrats had scheduled The Prophet Algoracle to come to DC and speak out in favor of the cap-and-tax bill, but it seems that Queen of the House Red Nanny P-Lousy doesn’t want the gasbag anywhere near the debate. It seems that Algore’s popularity isn’t what he believes it to be.

Townhall occasional blogger and commenter “Flame” came up with a GREAT name for a PAC to go along with my American Tradition Party. The long form is: Conservative Organization Dedicated to Eradicating Socialism, Totalitarianism, Incrementalism, in our Nation’s Knowledge! The acronym is: CODE STINK! We’ll toss all sorts of “land mines” into the punchbowls of the current political parties.

I’m not saying that there are double standards in how the media covers politicians, but…

How does the government waste our money? The answer of course is “in too many ways to count!” Here’s a NEW way to waste $550,000,000.00 that we don’t have. Let’s build a laboratory over 6,000 feet below the Black Hills of South Dakota with the purpose being to try to figure out whether or not “dark matter” really does exist or is just a theory in the minds of a few folks who have watched too many sci-fi flicks. “Scientists believe most of the dark matter in the universe contains no atoms and does not interact with ordinary matter through electromagnetic forces. They are trying to discover exactly what it is, how much exists and what effect it may have on the future of the universe.” In other words, this is a $550,000,000.00 episode of “Mythbusters” that won’t even be entertaining, much less informative.

John “Self-inflicted and non-existent wounds for Purple Hearts” Kerry-Heinz stepped in it once again. When word came out that South Carolina Governor Sanford was missing, he asked why it couldn’t have been Sarah Palin that went missing. Classy. When will the state of Taxachusetts start electing people who have SOME maturity, SOME morality, and SOME respect for the Constitution, instead of people like Kerry, Bawney Fwank (D-Gay Bars), and Teddythedrunk (D-Chappaquiddick)?

Okay, I guess I’ve got to make some obligatory comments regarding Governor Sanford since he is such a big story this week. First of all, if he had cheated on his taxes instead of on his wife, he’d be in line for a Cabinet nomination next week. Secondly, The Crawfish thought Sanford was a fiscal conservative, but which makes more fiscal sense? Flying all the way to Argentina to get some, or driving down to visit the multitude of hotties in Myrtle Beach and keeping the money in his own state? Who does he think he is, having sexual affairs while in office? FDR? Bill Clinton? Teddythedrunk? John Kennedy?

Michael Jackson is dead. The Crawfish sees this as no big loss, and actually good news for young children everywhere. It actually is horrible news for the Obama economic team, as 45 paparazzi and 83 gossip columnists just became unemployed. Too bad that he had to go on the same day as Farrah Fawcett, depriving her of her final deserved recognition and headlines.

As long as we’re on the subject of wasteful spending by a government entity, did y’all hear about the $65,000,000.00+ PER YEAR waste of taxpayer money in Noo Yawk City? It seems that over 700 public school UNION TEACHERS are being paid their FULL SALARY for doing absolutely nothing. They have committed, or are under suspicion of committing, numerous offenses both minor and major, but because they are UNION MEMBERS it is impossible to fire them, so they sit around and do whatever they want to do every day.

Taxachusetts has another way to waste money, in this case over $2,000,000.00 per month, as they put families up in hotels if they are too lazy to get jobs to support themselves.

You didn’t think that success would go unpunished by the Obama Administration, did you? Over the past decade or so, charter schools, most of which are definitely non-union, have shown themselves to be much better at actually educating kids than their regular public school counterparts. That cannot be allowed, so the teachers unions are pushing, with the assistance of SecEd Duncan, to have a greater role in charter schools. Let’s see…unions are the biggest problem in public schools, so let’s give the charter schools to them. It only makes sense if your goals are to indoctrinate kids, instead of educating them, and to raise another generation or two that is completely dependent upon government and will therefore always vote for the Democratic or Socialist (same thing) Parties.

The Crawfish fully expected retribution against the members of the Iranian national soccer team for their wearing of green armbands in support of the opposition to the Mad Mullahs and I’minajihad during a recent World Cup qualification match. Four players were told that they were immediately “retired,” ending not only their international careers but their regular league careers as well. This includes a player who became a national hero for scoring a goal that eliminated the USA from the World Cup in 1998. I’m actually surprised that those players haven’t been shot.

The Crawfish received this story link from a friend on Facebook. If it is true, then the American media has been looking at the wrong Iranian opposition leader as the next possible head of their government. Of course, since we ARE talking about a bunch of guys who have already held some power since 1979, we’re not talking about necessarily America-friendly or Israel-friendly types. Still, almost anything would be better than the Mad Mullahs running things now.

News out of Tehran’s Tuesday afternoon protests showed a major crack in the clerical leadership, as some mullahs were seen joining in with the protests while wearing their robes and turbans. Unfortunately, by Thursday evening it appears that the opposition protests have mostly been broken by the security forces and the clerics are stating that the protest organizers will be dealt with “strongly and with cruelty.” (Are the people who had kittens over the fraternity-style hijinks in Abu Ghraib gonna say anything about this???)  Other clerics have called the rioters “mohareb” which means “one who wages war against God.” So the Mad Mullahs now believe themselves and their boy I’minajihad to be God. The penalty under Islamic law for being a mohareb is, of course, execution.

Congratulations to the United States men’s national soccer team, for their 2-0 win over Spain in the semi-finals of the FIFA Confederations Cup. Spain, ranked number one in the world, had won 15 straight (an international soccer record), were undefeated in their last 35 games, and had not given up a single goal in over 5 games. In spite of questionable refereeing, with many offsides calls being made when the American player was onside by a step or two and a red card being issued to Mike Bradley for a foul that was at most a yellow card offense, the Americans withstood furious attacks by the Spaniards, but goalkeeper Tim Howard and his defenders kept a clean sheet.

Kevin of The Black Sphere has a wonderfully put together column today about how racist white Democrats are using groups like ACORN to keep black America enslaved, while using the black vote to keep racist Democrats in power. Of course, if The Crawfish said this stuff, I’d be shouted down as being a racist right wing extremist.

HOLY COW! Representative John Conyers (D-Michigan) is admitting that his planned probe into ACORN was scuttled by “the powers that be.” Yes, a powerful Democrat is flat out stating that Queen of the House Red Nanny P-Lousy and her cohorts are covering up federal crimes.

Democrats just can’t help themselves. Do they actually think the American people will never figure out how the credit collapse actually happened? Evidently so, as Bawney Fwank (D-the gay bars of Taxachusetts) is requesting that Fannie and Freddie relax mortgage lending rules AGAIN!

All I’ve got to say regarding this little dispute is that the Census should NOT be counting anybody who is not a citizen in the first place.

The Democrats in Congress and His Majesty King Barack I are pushing hard for healthcare reform to give coverage to all of those folks who don’t have healthcare coverage now (most of whom are financially secure and can pay their own bills, are young and healthy so they don’t feel the need for coverage, are illegals and should be immediately deported, or are only uninsured for a couple of months while in between jobs). What you won’t hear in the mainstream press is how micHELLe Obama was part of a scheme at a Chicago area hospital to dump uninsured patients, and the Obamas got David Axelrod to be their point man in dealing with the media and public on this issue.

Sorry for the short column for this week. This weekend was one of those “I ain’t interested in the internet” weekends. Yeah, surprising that The Crawfish does occasionally have those, too.

It’s always good to see someone get honored for their service to our troops and veterans. It’s even better when it is someone you know, as in AllMilitary.com’s own Ruth Ray.

The situation in Iran is still far from settled. One key to the eventual outcome is the Revolutionary Guards. Will they stand with the Mad Mullahs and I’minajihad, which means possibly a new Tiananmen Square Massacre, or will they refuse to follow those orders? There have been reports of some leaders of the Revolutionary Guards breaking with the clerics and getting arrested as a result. Monday saw the security forces resisting the protesters with vigor and the Revolutionary Guards issuing a strong statement, but the crowds were still there. Will they be there tomorrow and the day after? The next week will probably see the tipping point one way or the other.

Do they really think we’re that stooooopid? The folks at ACORN are changing their name to “Community Organizations International” because of all the fraud and corruption associated with the ACORN name. Hey, loooosers. It is better to change the PEOPLE INVOLVED than to change the name!

The Constitution requires an enumeration of the citizenry every ten years. The upcoming census, however, requires the people to fill out a large number of questions that have nothing to do with an enumeration of the people. Representative Michelle Bachman (R-MN) notes that many of the questions are intimate and personal, including some asking when you leave your house for work, and that the imperial federal government is REQUIRING all adults to answer all of the questions or face fines up to $5000. Rep. Bachman states that she will answer only the number of people, names, ages, and genders in her household. THAT completely fulfills the Constitutional requirement, and gives the government all of the information that they need or have any right to know.

Here’s your UNION TEACHER update for the week. The union teachers in suburban Atlanta have a scandal on their hands, as four schools falsified standardized test answer sheets so that their schools would not receive failing grades from the state government. You see, it is much easier to cheat and continue letting the chirren speak in ebonics than it is to actually TEACH them.

FIFTY FOUR PERCENT of people questioned still say that the economic problems we have are all Bush’s fault. Yes, 54% of the people are blind to what the Democrats did to prepare the economy for this collapse back in the Clinton years and from January 2007 until now. Who pushed the Community Reinvestment Act? Who pushed the fraud at Fannie and Freddie? Who voted for the “stimulus” bill and the TARP bills? At least there’s 39% that didn’t drink the Kool-Aid.

Why in the world do we have a situation in which the President of France of  would be preferable to the President of the United States? President Sarkozy once again shows himself to be more of a man and more of a non-muslim than The Chosen One.

How is that program of releasing folks from Gitmo going? Well, a number of them have been seen on the battlefields again, and now the massacre of Europeans in Yemen last week is being blamed on one of the former guests at Club Gitmo.

The boys at JibJab are at it again. Here’s their first satire of The Chosen One. It is exactly how the American media is portraying Him, a combination of Superman, The Messiah, and The Great Black Hope.

Recently, His Majesty said that “we are already seeing results” from the “stimulus” bill. Well, a senior research scientist at the University of Maryland begs to differ. Hat tip to fellow Marylander and Poll Katz e-mailer “Ginny.”

Ginny strikes again with this little ol’ story she found at Politico.com about how the White House economic team has scored millions for their personal bank accounts from the very firms at the heart of bailout central. Sounds to me like those guys need to pay each and every penny back to the Treasury!

Ginny really was on a roll this week. She also sent me this story which she knew would cause me to blow a gasket. Nine years ago, an illegal alien was hit by a drunk driver. He spent years in a hospital because they had no place to send him, since he couldn’t pay any of the MILLIONS of dollars in bills he had racked up. Eventually, the hospital got a court order to deport him to a medical facility in his home country, and now his legal team is suing the hospital! The Crawfish says that the hospital should have only given him care to prevent him from dying and then shipped him out the next day, charging the Guatamalan government for his bills!

You know it’s bad when His Majesty’s own doctor opposes The One’s healthcare plans. Maybe Obama should listen to his doctor and ditch Obamacare while he stops smoking.

The Crawfish saw this story all over the place this weekend, and just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to bring you another example of how the federal government has absolutely no clue to reality. It is widely known, and scientifically verified, that many types of food have certain benefits to our bodies. Foods high in fiber help us to…well, let’s say produce more “federal government” by keeping us regular. I’m guessing that General Mills Company didn’t pay their annual kickbacks to His Majesty’s Administration, as they are threatening to make Cheerios get classified as a “drug” because they advertise that a diet including Cheerios can help lower cholesterol and the risk of coronary heart disease. The fact that the claims are TRUE means nothing, just that they make the claim. Chicago union thug/Jesse Jackson politics is alive and well in DC.

It isn’t just the Obama-Holder feds who want to invade your privacy. Just take a look at this story out of Bozeman, Montana. For once, I see that the ACLU is on the correct side of the battle. The article says that the city won’t hold anything against applicants who refuse, and if you believe that then you believe Obama is going to abide by his oath to uphold and defend the Constitution.

Are the Prophet Algoracle and his Gorons still pushing their man-made Glo-Bull Warming agenda as if it is based on proven scientific facts? I believe that the people of Arizona might have a slightly different take on temperatures in their region.

How’s this for a headline? “UNIONS HATE THE ENVIRONMENT!” Well, it has a ring to it, especially in light of this story out of Californication, that was found by some strange reason in the Noo Yawk Slimes. Yes, unions out there oppose any solar energy power plants if the companies involved are not all-union, all-the-time, and will use animal rights as the way to fight them. If a company wants to build such a facility WITH union labor, then the union favors it even if it endangers a threatened species. Why would anyone expect something other than hypocrisy from any branch of the Democratic Party?

Since Mrs. Crawfish was coming home Thursday evening, and I already had a rather long draft by 1:30PM that afternoon, I decided to go ahead and put The Weekend Claw out a day early. Hope y’all took your blood pressure meds and antacid tablets before you started reading!

As of Tuesday morning, this analysis of the situation in Iran and the dilemma for the Obama Administration seemed correct to The Crawfish. The US is in a no-win situation and should stand back, with the issuing of statements decrying election fraud, calling for free and fair elections, and supporting the people of Iran being the only true option for now. We have a history of interfering with Iran’s internal politics, including the overthrow of an elected, but pro-Soviet, government in order to place the Shah in power, so we should tread lightly. This was even mentioned Tuesday by President Obama in his statement regarding the unrest. The current opposition is described as “moderate” but that moderation is only superficial. All candidates in the election were hand-picked by the Mad Mullahs and are anti-Israel, pro-nukes, and pro-sponsoring of terrorist groups. Unless a revolt against the Mad Mullahs breaks out, we don’t really have a dog in this fight. On top of that, who are Obama and the Democrats to oppose election fraud after the New Black Panthers case?

An Iranian prosecutor is warning the protesters, even claiming that they are “waging war against God” which means that the punishment is execution. So now I’minajihad is GOD? The prosecutor is also claiming that the protests are being organized by foreigners outside of Iran.  To that The Crawfish says, “not YET!”

An e-mailer who wished to remain anonymous sent me this article, which I believe she got from Neal Boortz’s site. It seems that the President of Brazil is urging unions around the world to take advantage of the economic crisis and establish a “new world economic order.” Taken from the Rahmbo “Twinkletoes” Emmanuel school of “never let a crisis go to waste.”

Today’s edition of “Has He Lost His Bloody Mind?” comes from the now-2nd worst President in American history, Jimmuh Cahtuh, who has never met a terrorist that he didn’t fall in love with. Jimmy The Dhimmi just spent some time coddling with the muslims over in the Middle East and now says the he will ask the Obama Administration to remove the terrorist group designation for the muslim terrorist group Hamas. That man is the biggest embarrassment in the history of the State of Georgia.

Thursday morning, a Continental Airlines pilot died on a flight from Brussels to the US. Since it was a long flight, there was a reserve crew on board, so the alternate First Officer and the Co-Pilot brought the plane home without further incident. The way the news was reporting it, you’d have thought that no qualified flyers were aboard, as the whole area around Newark International was cleared out and the plane came in with emergency declared. The Crawfish has to say that the Boeing 777 and its onboard computer systems can literally make the flight completely safely from the start of the takeoff run to the slowdown on landing without the aircrew touching a single control. Since there were two fully qualified pilots at the controls and the computer was working properly, there was no need to declare any kind of emergency.

Hmmmmmm. The Crawfish’s path to power is possibly becoming less congested. Yes, I will become the benevolent Constitutional dictator, wiping out all anti-Constitutional parts of the federal gummint, revoking all anti-Constitutional laws and regulations, and hosting the Miss Hooters International Swimsuit Pageant on the South Lawn! (Why is Mrs. Crawfish looking down and just shaking her head?)

What would happen to a conservative lawmaker if he met with the head of the Federal Reserve and the Secretary of the Treasury, then promptly cashed out his stock portfolio just before the markets collapsed? Would he be investigated and called onto the carpet for possible insider trading? Would it be a serious scandal? Well, since the lawmaker who actually did that is none other than Senator Richard “Turban” Durbin (D-Corruptionois), the story will be swept under the rug by the media.

Last week, twenty three state Attorneys General sent a letter to the Affirmative Action Attorney General, backing up a letter sent previously by SIXTY FIVE Congressional Democrats, calling for the AAAG to not support the renewal of a Clinton era ban on semi-automatic firearms. Of course this is a futile gesture, since the AAAG joins with The Chosen One and all of the anti-gun leftists in supporting every possible type of firearms ban. The Crawfish, and Townhall blogger “Saltwater”, who sent me this article, note that only 23 of the AGs signed the letter. What is wrong with the other 27?

The Crawfish, who comes from an advertising family, sometimes really doesn’t understand advertising execs. Over the years both Abercrombie & Fitch and Calvin Klein have used a LACK of clothing in order to sell clothing. In reality, their goal has been to promote porn and to get the youth who enjoy promiscuous lifestyles to buy their products. I saw this ad on a billboard myself, and wondered what a woman having sex with three guys has to do with buying jeans. I do know that I will never buy clothing from either of those companies, and if I were to ever run a large company I would find out who does the advertising for those brands and would avoid that ad agency like the plague.

Well, the initial estimate from the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office on the price of the Kennedy-Obama healthcare plan is looking like a cool $1,000,000,000,000.00+, and since this is a government project, the actual cost will be 4 to 5 times greater than that. Maybe this is why the Democrats want to use White House estimates during the debates on the subject. The report also states that this amount would be spent while only decreasing the number of uninsured by one-third and specifically does NOT include the costs of a government run health insurance that is one of the must-include items according to The Chosen One. Yep, let’s spend TRILLIONS of dollars to make healthcare more affordable! For every person who would get coverage under this plan, the taxpayers would pay at least $62,000.00. Wouldn’t it be MUCH cheaper to enroll all of them in Blue Cross? Meanwhile, President Obama made his healthcare plan pitch to the American Medical Association, and got booed in return. I don’t think DOCTORS (you know, those folks who actually know healthcare) approve of his socialism plans.

For those of you who thought the Soviet Union was gone and buried, or was at least on the other side of the world, The Swamp presents the State Media of the Union of Soviet Socialist States of Amerika. Yes, ABC is the new version of Pravda and Isvestia, the state run media from the old USSR. Next Wednesday ABC will air “World News Tonight” from the White House, followed by a two hour infomercial from the White House on The Chosen One’s socialized healthcare plans, and then a special edition of “Nightline” to recap the whole event. ABC claims that questions will be taken from a variety of sources, including those sent in to their website, but in reality the questions presented will probably all be written by the Administration’s own people, and the President and his reps will have been fully briefed on every one. The Republicans are being denied a rebuttal of any kind, and ABC will not even allow groups that oppose Obamacare to purchase ads before, during, or after the show. Now, will this infomercial (and all of the commercials advertising it) be properly paid for by the DNC, or is ABC going to consider this to be a “news” program? The Crawfish and his family wishes ABC would reconsider, especially since Wednesday night is when our family gathers together to watch ABC’s “WIPEOUT,” featuring The Big Balls, and “I Survived A Japanese Game Show.” Yes, we like silly sadistic shows.

Thanks to newsbusters.org, we can state that this is NOT the first time that the American media has prostrated itself for an Administration’s health care plans. The only differences are that the 1994 NBC infomercial for Hillary!care was run commercial-free and was paid for by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, which had five of its “fellows” on the Hillary!care secret task force. I knew there was some reason I had the newsbusters site bookmarked.

More from the BIG BROTHER ALERT files, as this week the Obama Administration will propose new regulations that will make it much easier for the federal government to seize control of private businesses…and yet He still claims to not want to control private companies. Is His other middle name Benito?

You probably thought that you had a Constitutionally protected right to peacefully assemble and protest. Well, according to an exam given as part of required training for Department of Defense employees, protesting is “an example of low-level terrorism.” Yep, the imperial federal government will be watching and investigating you if you protest. Gawd, I love living in the reign of King Barack I.

It appears that the fired Inspector General for the Corporation for National and Community Service is fighting back at the Administration, and he has help from lawmakers of both parties including a key Obama supporter who actually wrote the law protecting IGs from political manipulation. Mr. Walpin was fired by The Chosen One because he found a lot of fraud being perpetrated by friends of The One, and reported it. In a flashback to the days of $lick and Hitlery!’s White House, he became another victim of the Chicago union thug politics of personal destruction and vindictiveness that characterize this Administration. The Obamexplaination of the firing was nothing but lies, and the firing was illegal, as written notice of the reason to fire someone in that position must be presented and approved by Congress ahead of time. Mr. Walpin even stated on the Laura Ingraham Show that some evidence in the Kevin Johnson case has been destroyed by the Administration. In this story from the AP the former executive director of a nonprofit at the center of the investigation stated in his resignation letter that e-mail evidence had been destroyed. The only good news in this matter is that the FBI does have an active investigation into the fraud in Sacramento. Of course, the Affirmative Action Attorney General will probably quash the investigation soon.

Queen of the House Red Nanny P-Lousy and the Democrats played some extremely shady tricks this week in the House. The GOP was trying to put forth and vote on some amendments to a bill, but the Dems said no more voting would be allowed for the evening. Okay, time to go home. As soon as the Republicans left, the Dems quickly made a vote to end debate on all amendments to the bill. The Crawfish seems to remember something about INTEGRITY in the speech P-Lousy gave when she assumed the throne in the House.

The Employee Free Choice Act, aka the Union Thuggerization Bill of 2009, contains some really scary provisions, if you believe in the free market and the Constitution. One such provision would force companies to pay to save underfunded union pension plans, even if that causes the company to lose profit or have to shortchange the pension plans of non-union workers. This is very important for the union thugs, because while union boss pension plans are very healthy these days, over half of the biggest American unions have NOT properly funded the pension plans of their workers, with those plans now being listed as “endangered” or “critical.” Companies that are forced, by government arbitrators, into unionization by this bill could also be forced into union-negotiated multi-company pension funds. The Crawfish once again asks where the government gets the authority to have ANY say in the private business contracts between an employer and an employee?

President Obama calls the NorK’s nuke tests “a grave threat” and says that they might have the capability to hit the west coast with a nuke missile within five years. Reports this week say that they NorKs are possibly going to launch a missile towards Hawaii (not quite enough range to hit, but still in the direction) in early July. Meanwhile, Iran’s loonies have fired off a bunch of missiles and keep stating that they are also working on a nuke weapons program. So what do the Administration and the Democratic Party Congresscritters respond with? They cut $1.2 Billion from missile defense programs. So what side is Obama on???

Wow, the Democrats have come up with a new plan that is kinda like giving a prostitute $20 at night followed by $1000 the next morning. They’re having a fundraising dinner Thursday night (6-18-09) that is subject to the strict ban on lobbyist contributions issued by the Obama government, but there’s a $5000 per person “Issues Conference,” which is NOT subject to the ban, at the same hotel the next morning.

Another eventful weekend has come and gone. Two of our adversaries are extreme flashpoints right now. How will President Obama react to the situations with North Korea and Iran? Let us all hope and pray that he makes the right decisions. The Crawfish is worried about those decisions.

Isn’t that just special. The Democrats’ support for muslim terrorists in their efforts to destroy Israel has resulted in Jimmuh Cahtuh receiving the Palestine International Award For Excellence and Creativity, probably for his actions leading to the rise of Islamofascism and the glorious return to Iran of Ayatollah Khomeini. Cahtuh, who met with the Hamas leadership in Syria, urged the terrorist groups to quit bickering with each other so they could finish the job. While everything the now-2nd worst President in history had to say was exactly what The Chosen One has been saying for the past year, the Administration was quick to say that Jimmuh was not really representing Obama. Believability factor: ZERO!

Meanwhile, The Chosen One was “excited” about the elections in Iran, and was probably even more “excited” when I’minajihad stole the election, even though the US government publicly decried the fraud. Was it a coincidence that a rigged election took place when Jimmuh Cahtuh was in the area? The internet sites of the opposition parties and networking sites such as facebook and twitter are down, as is cell phone texting service, in an attempt to quell the uprisings and protests. Foreign journalists who are trying to cover the protests are being “reminded” that their visas will expire soon. It is obvious that the Mad Mullahs who really run Iran are still behind I’minajihad, and held the election only to give the people the impression that they matter to the Mad Mullahs. The Crawfish is wondering when ACORN opened up branch offices in Iran…or is ACORN a branch office of the Mad Mullahs?

CNN (surprise) already has interviewed I’minajihad, and asked why the opposition leader had already been arrested. I’minajihad pointedly refused to guarantee Mousavi’s safety.  Mahchchch(p-tooey!)moud also dismissed the protests as “unimportant” and compared them to disappointed fans after a soccer match.

Here’s a hint for folks who want to rig an election. Even if you desire a landslide result, it is bad form to claim that your candidate wins over 60% of the vote in a village that is not only the hometown of another candidate, but where over 60% of the population is made up of relatives of the opposition candidate!

Although He said in his Cairo address that America stood firmly with Israel, President Obama’s actions and words show that He stands firmly AGAINST Israel. It is really telling when the Palestinians and the rest of the muslims believe that He is an agent on THEIR side in the conflict against Israel.

There is one large fly in the soup of The Chosen One’s plans for the Middle East, as the sham of an election in Iran gives ammunition for Israel’s Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu in his war of words against Obama. In reality, his neo-Nazi views would seem to put him on the far left (the ideologies of national socialism, socialism, fascism, marxism, and communism are all left wing STATIST ideologies), while his hatred of the Federal Reserve puts him in the Ron Paul fan group, which is right-left-center-and OUT THERE. Since his actions were not targeted on a single person, but were rather designed to instill fear among a large group (Jews in this case) and perpetuate random violence, he does fit the definition of terrorist, but should be classified as “lone wolf head case.” Comparing him to another terrorist, the guy who shot up the recruitment center in Arkansas, the muslim shooter’s targets were numerous (according to his list) and his actions somewhat random but designed to instill fear in multiple groups (military and Jews). Since his actions were religious in nature and he is part of a much larger group (from his travels to Yemen), he is a “muslim terrorist” but will only be called a “shooter” or “murderer” by the American media. His story is detailed more in a following paragraph. The third recent high-profile murderer was the guy who took out Tiller The Baby Killer. Since his actions were targeted against a single victim and were not designed to instill fear or commit violence against a larger group, he is simply a murderer or an assassin (although The Crawfish prefers to use that term only for someone who goes after a “high value target” such as a government official or high ranking military officer), but since his victim was a darling of the left and their abortion-at-any-time cause, they will wrongly use the term “right wing terrorist” for him. Rant over.

Townhall blogger Andrews has a thought provoking column posted about the Nobel Prize, and a group of dedicated men and women who are truly worthy of that award, but will never receive it. This one is worth the read for sure.

If your job is to weed out and prevent corruption and misuse of government funds, and you find that millions of dollars are being misused, that SHOULD get you praise from your boss. One program cut possibility that really has the unions torqued is CalGrants, which gives college aid to students, but only if those students are children of UNION workers (sounds like a discriminatory program in the first place…BrianR, have The Swamp’s research team file a lawsuit to end that program!).

Do they oppose the bill and get politically hammered for opposing funding to support the troops? Why is there extra spending in the bill for aircraft construction that the Air Force says it doesn’t want or need (the answer is…to support ABSCAM MURTHA!)? Why is there lots of $$$ to give people rebates if they buy new cars (because The Chosen One wants the UAW to get more money)?

She once again brought up the canard of “cultural bias” in standardized tests, as if basic English vocabulary, English grammar, and high school level math are different for minorities as opposed to whites. As Townhall blogger EDAMON50 pointed out to me, maybe this sheds more light upon her decision in the Ricci v. DeStephano case. Could it be that she simply hates all standardized tests and believes them to be racist no matter what the questions say because back in the day she scored low on a couple of them?

On Thursday, they proudly announced that some of the Chinese Uighers, who had been captured in Afghanistan after attending Al-Qaida/Taliban training camps, had been successfully transferred to Bermuda. Yes, I said that the profits of private companies would be LIMITED, and that the government would be going into the business to compete with them, which means that the government would undercut all private companies to drive them out of business, which leads us to completely socialized healthcare. The old lecherous murdering drunk probably didn’t expect any of us to figure out the plan.

Obama’s D-Day event really struck me as odd. First of all, there was embattled British Prime Minister Brown referring to a piece of hallowed ground as “Obama Beach.” Then there was Obama talking about the bravery and sacrifice in such a noble cause, which made The Crawfish ask what Obama would have done back then. I figured that He would have told the Free French to give up their arms and live under Vichy rule, while telling the Brits that they’d just have to learn to live with a Nazi-dominated Europe. The Brits had no right to tell the rest of Europe how to live, and besides, that Hitler is a pretty cool and charismatic guy who cares as much for the Jews as Obama himself.

This week, we pause and remember two of the most decisive engagements of World War II. Sixty seven years ago, on the 4th to the 6th of June, 1942, American Sailors, Marines, and Army Air Corps flyers took on the Imperial Japanese Navy’s Dai-Ichi Kido Butai (First Carrier Strike Force) near the island of Midway, and broke the aura of invincibility that had surrounded the Japanese armed forces for 6 months. Two years later, on June 6th, 1944, Soldiers, Sailors, and Airmen from the USA, Great Britain, Canada, France, Poland, Australia, and other free nations began the liberation of Nazi-occupied Europe with the invasion of Normandy. May we never forget the sacrifices of those men, and may we never need to have them repeated.

If you thought the Democrats were about done in taking over the nation’s private businesses and intruding upon the operations of them, think again. Now, The Golden Child will appoint a “Special MASTER For Compensation” to oversee the pay that goes to workers and executives of companies that have received, or had thrust upon them against their wishes, gummint bailout funds. (Well, they say just executives for now, but if those workers aren’t union goons, it will eventually extend to them as well) I can see the low-level executives now…”Massa, can I has another dolla so eyes can buy some peanut buttah and jelly fo my chirren?” Where will it end? Will this person’s bailiwick next extend to firms that receive government tax incentives to do their business? How about firms that get government contracts? Do ya see where I’m heading with this?

Pay attention to the words of the scientists who say we’re in a solar minimum right now, with another maximum in 2012. That means that the temperatures will be UP just in time for another Presidential election cycle so the Democrats can screech about the need for more of their economy-killing bovine excrement.

The Chosen One’s Administration is now going to target companies that have a portion of their businesses overseas, with tax penalties and such. This is part of His plan to grow or save American jobs, but the result will be that companies that already have some of their workforce overseas will INCREASE the overseas operations and DECREASE the American workforce because they will cost EVEN MORE than the overseas workers do! Yep, more “Change We Can Believe In!”

The Crawfish has to wonder if this crime will get much attention in the mainstream media or get called a “hate crime.” Since the victims are members of the US Army, and the attacker is a black muslim, the answer is probably a resounding NO! Remember, The Chosen One said that we are not and never will be at war with Islam. The fact that they’ve been at war with us for over 1300 years, on the other hand, is proven fact. Tiller the Baby Killer got murdered by a lone crazy and the government gives US Marshals protection details to abortionists. A recruiter gets murdered by one of the BILLION muslims seeking to destroy our nation and no extra protection is offered to recruiting stations, but rather The Golden Child will go to the arab world to kowtow and grovel some more. The murderer recently travelled to Yemen on a SOMALI passport, but authorities are saying that he had no ties to any terrorist organizations. Yeah, right.

Neither this article, nor the one I found from the Baltimore Sun, has the courage to mention that this young white boy was beaten to death by a group of BLACK gang members. The parents pulled him out of one high school that had gang problems, but the gang members tracked him down and killed him in a vicious attack. Of course, there is also exactly zero calls for this to be prosecuted as a hate crime, although if the races were reversed we’d already have seen protests by Jesse-Be-The-Jackson, the not-so-reverend-Al “Tawana Brawley” Sharpton, and every other race warlord.

The State of Georgia wants to make sure that people who vote are in fact legal to vote. I know all of the readers are probably saying “Well, duh. Of course it should be a requirement to prove that you are legal to vote before you vote.” Well, as ESPN’s Lee Corso would say, “Not so fast, my friend!” The Obama government wants illegal aliens and convicted felons to be able to vote, and wants its ACORN-registered voters to be able to vote multiple times per election, so they have spiked the Georgia plan, by using the 1965 Voting Rights Act, which gives the feds the authority to pass judgment upon ANY change involving elections in all of the Southern states since once upon a time there was discrimination down there…and yes, that does include elections that have no candidates for federal offices. I know, I know, there’s no Constitutional authority for the feds to do that, but has that ever stopped Demcrats?

Isn’t there already a large contingent of media types in Noo Yawk City? Then some other military jets had to take His motorcade vehicles up there, plus three or more helicopters. But He criticizes the spending of other people…schmuck!

The Dow removed GM and CitiGroup from the index, replacing them with Cisco Systems and Travelers Companies, respectively. Replacing two stocks that have tanked with two that are healthy will cause the index to go up. I’m just waiting for the Administration to point out the rise and claim credit.

Oh, this is rich. Former head of the DNC Howard “YEEEEAAAARRRRGH!” Dean says that the racist comments of the Affirmative Action SCOTUS Nominee were, to use the DNC talking points, “totally taken out of context” but then had to admit that he had no idea what the context was.

Dingy Harry “Land Deal” Reid has come out in favor of the SCOTUS choice (I know, you’re shocked), but has no knowledge of her job performance. Reid even went so far as to admit that he has never read any of Sotomayor’s judicial opinions, and he hopes that he never will. How’s THAT for being informed on the issues before voting! Of course with his track record of voting for the “stimulus” package without reading IT, this is no surprise.

Does it really matter what Sotomayor has said or how she has ruled in the past if the GOP Senators don’t have the squirrel food to call her out on her obviously racist philosophy because they don’t want to take the chance of offending Hispanics? When is the GOP going to wake up and forcefully decry the double standards in American politics? Anybody who is not a white male conservative can get away with all sorts of racist comments, but if a white male conservative had said that a white male would be a better judge than a Mexican woman, there’d be hell to pay. If a white male conservative opposes a nomination of a Hispanic, black, or a woman, they are automatically demonized as racist and/or sexist, but haven’t the Democrats savaged conservative nominees who were black, Hispanic, or female? Just ask Alberto Gonzales, Priscilla Owen, Miguel Estrada, Janice Rogers Brown, or Clarence Thomas. Did those Democrats get any backlash in the black community? The Hispanic community? Among females? In the Media? Of course not. As Mark Davis says, if the statements are valid, then it is not racist to point out the racism in those statements, even if the media and the Democrats (but I repeat myself) cry foul.

Second Amendment defenders have been pooh-pooh’d lately by some in the GOP and some real conservatives as being Chicken Littles over the anti-2nd Amendment views of the Affirmative Action Attorney General and the Affirmative Action SCOTUS nominee, since both opposed the Heller v. DC ruling. We’ve been told that Heller decided the issue and that the 2nd Amendment applies to all states and municipalities. Well, multiple appeals and circuit courts disagree and even this week have ruled that the 2nd Amendment does not apply when states and municipalities ban guns. The article from the Chicago Sun-Times even quotes the Heller ruling’s footnotes that state that Heller applies ONLY to the federal government. Watch for the unholy alliance of Holder, Sotomayor, Breyer, Stevens, Ginsburg, Feinstein, Schumer, Obama, and the rest of that crowd to glom onto that part of the ruling and attempt to completely overturn the 2nd Amendment through legislation, federal enforcement activity, and activist court action.

UPDATE: The Swamp’s crack research staff, aka Townhall blogger “BrianR”, informs me that the part about the ruling applying only to the feds comes from Justice Stevens’ dissent, whereas Justice Scalia, in the majority opinion, flat out states, “None of the Court’s precedents forecloses the Court’s interpretation. Neither United States v. Cruikshank, 92 U. S. 542, 553, nor Presser v. Illinois, 116 U. S. 252, 264–265, refutes the individual rights interpretation” and “We are aware of the problem of handgun violence in this country, and we take seriously the concerns raised by the many amici who believe that prohibition of handgun ownership is a solution. The Constitution leaves the District of Columbia a variety of tools for combating that problem, including some measures regulating handguns, see supra, at 54–55, and n. 26. But the enshrinement of constitutional rights necessarily takes certain policy choices off the table. Well, the weekend was quite eventful, wasn’t it? We had the Sunday shows all filled with attempts by Democrats to say that the Affirmative Action SCOTUS Nominee’s comments weren’t racist and that she’s really a centrist, while Republicans showed no intestinal fortitude in opposing her. We have a possible announcement on Monday of John Kasich running for Ohio Governor. Unfortunately, we also have an Air France aircraft with 228 people aboard missing over the Atlantic. Our thoughts and prayers go out to those people, their families and friends, and those who are searching for them.

Can y’all see this story getting turned into a made-for-TV movie? It would have to be embellished a bit to make the story long enough, but I could see it on NBC by the fall sweeps week.

Race-baiting Congresscritter Charlie “Tax Cheat” Rangel even got in on the act at a rally to support the family of the slain officer, saying Barack Obama needed ID and his Secret Service detail to keep from getting shot in Harlem, and a city councilman said that it used to be “driving while black” but that it is now “policinig while black” that will get you shot.

George Tiller, the “doctor” in Kansas who was famous for being the nation’s pre-eminent provider of partial birth abortions, was shot to death in a church on Sunday. Somehow, the Reformation Lutheran Church thought he was enough of a Christian to be a church usher, which goes a long way to show how anti-Christian that church is. The Crawfish is only alive because abortion was still illegal in the mid-60s, so I will not shed a tear for the death of this mass murderer.

A NASA/NOAA study shows that we’re in a very low sunspot activity time, and says low sunspot activity lowers temperatures on Earth. If the Prophet Algoracle sees this report he’ll have kittens.

Well, it is a start. A contractor who received millions in earmarks from the world’s only EX-Marine Jack “ABSCAM” Murtha has been suspended from all contracts by the Navy (guess they did ONE thing right last week). Details are also starting to come out regarding a Justice Department fraud investigation involving Murtha and committee-mate Rep. Pete Visclosky (Jackass Party- Indiana). Will the Affirmative Action Attorney General quash the investigation and drop the charges like he did regarding the New Black Panther Party’s blatant voter intimidation case? Will Queen of the House Red Nanny P-Lousy ever drain the Democratic Party’s swamp of its “culture of corruption?”

The Democrats complained loud and long during the Bush years that Bush had “politicized” the Justice Department, but somehow they seem to have no problem with Obama and the Affirmative Action Attorney General in charge. This story goes deeper into the Black Panthers case. The Black Panthers did NOT put up any opposition to the case, and the judge made a summary judgment against them, until the Administration ordered the case dropped. Ranking minority member of the House Justice Committee, Lamar Smith (R- TX) is demanding an investigation and hearings, which the Democrats will probably quash.

The Administration is politicizing justice in another way. This time, the judge in charge of the Chrysler bankruptcy stated that he wasn’t ready to make any rulings on the asset sales, but when the GM bankruptcy became scheduled for 0800 on Monday, the Administration placed a phone call and somehow, the judge finalized his ruling just after midnight Monday morning.

Would the Obama Administration promote people based solely upon campaign contributions rather than ability? To quote a certain GOP politician…YOU BETCHA!

The Crawfish is sure that absolutely none of his readers will be surprised in the least to find out that a man who has complained to Congresscritters about crazy spending and has said he’d work to see the spendaholics defeated would find himself under investigation by the FBI because of a complaint from a Democrat.

One of the very few things that The Crawfish approves of regarding Islam is how they treat child molesters and murderers.

But unfortunately, the rest of the “religion” of the Followers of the Pedophilic False Prophet is at war with the rest of the world and engage in terrorism whenever and wherever possible. Deport them all immediately.

He will be in charge of making schools safer, but will probably take that mandate to mean make schools safe for heterophobes by making tolerance classes mandatory. Once again, a Democrat is trying to make a federal requirement for part of the private business contracts between employer and employee. What gives the federal government any authority to require companies to pay a certain minimum wage or give certain amounts of paid vacation time?

Barack Obama evidently believes that the backlash over Sonia Sotomayor’s obviously racist comments is “nonsense.” Well, that’s not surprising coming from someone who made racism a central part of his campaign and named an Attorney General based solely upon his skin color.

Former Congressman Tom Tancredo does NOT believe that Sotomayor’s racism is nonsense, and he takes her to task for her membership in the racist anti-American group La Raza.

Right now there are tons of Americans out of work, almost all are cutting back on expenses, the government is in deeper debt than any time in our history, and what does the Obama family do? They take a taxpayer-paid trip to Noo Yawk City for dinner and a Broadway show. How much did it cost for transportation for them and their security team, not to mention theater tickets for the whole bunch?

Why do people shake their heads or question anybody who points out that the UN is an organization that is dominated by petty dictators and muslim nations, and is institutionally anti-Jew?

As long as we’re talking about kowtowing to the muzzies, the Democrats are trying to make Americans grovel at the feet of Islam even more, by driving up the cost of drilling for oil within our own borders. The Crawfish understands the need to eventually go to alternate energy sources, but as long as we have cars, trucks, construction equipment, ships, and aircraft that use oil-based fuels, shouldn’t we be buying it from domestic sources instead of enriching terrorists and their supporters?

Now THIS is how it should be done. The National Governors Association and the education administrators of 46 states plus the District of Colombia are getting together to make some common education standards for kindergarten through high school. Since education is a state and local issue, according to the Constitution, having the state governments take care of it is proper. This again highlights the need to eliminate the unConstitutional Department of Education.

Well, why is it that his own Environmental Protection Agency’s study shows that the energy policy of the Administration and Nostrildamus Waxman (D-Land of Fruits and Nuts) will cause economic problems and the sending of thousands of jobs overseas. Yep, the Democratic Party is STILL looking out for Americans.

French President Sarkozy is making an appointment that is sure to get The Prophet Algoracle and the Gorons all spun up, which is a good thing.

The Crawfish feels like Gomer Pyle on this one as I say, “surprise, surprise, surprise!” The Californication Supreme Court actually upheld their own state constitution by allowing the voter-approved amendment to the state constitution known as Proposition 8 stand, which means no more heterophobe marriages in that state. The “marriages” that were conducted during the time before the amendment passed will stand, which is fair and proper.

I wonder if this story will get any airtime in the media this weekend. Back on Election Day, some members of the Black Panthers blocked access to a polling place in Philly with blatant voter intimidation. The new political appointees working for the Affirmative Action Attorney General have quashed the charges against the Black Panthers. We can’t have charges being brought against good Democrat role models like that bunch of racist thugs when there’s white conservatives to go after.

Y’all won’t believe the extent to which the government is possibly going in England to combat non-existent Glo-Bull Warming. Just wait until OUR Congress reads this and starts putting forth similar legislation. Mark this down, ‘cause it WILL happen.

Chicago Pay To Play Politics is BACK in the news with the revelation that Roland Burris did indeed promise to help Governor Bad Hair Blago with his funds if he got the Senate appointment, according to FBI wiretaps. Will this change anything? Well, Burris is black and a Democrat, so he is untouchable.

The Crawfish called this one when Souter announced his retardment, but The Chosen One has decided that race, gender, and anti-Constitutionalism are the leading characteristics to be considered when choosing a SCOTUS Justice, as he has picked Sonia Sotomayor, who has more bad judicial remarks and decisions in her career than any judge outside of the Ninth Circus in Than Franthithco. Remember, The Claw recently brought y’all a story about her declaring that the courts are “Where policy is made” which shows that she has no concept of the role of the courts. She clearly does not have the temperament, judgment, or Constitutional knowledge to be elevated to SCOTUS, but since she is a FEMALE and a HISPANIC, there’s no way that more than a handful of Senators will vote against her.

Of course, the rush to make history with the first Halfrican President nominating the first Hispanic SCOTUS Justice will be all over the news, but the media will conveniently forget that there has already been a Hispanic SCOTUS Justice.

Judge Sotomayor has repeatedly made comments to the effect that Hispanics cannot get proper justice without Hispanic judges and that a Hispanic woman will make a better decision than a white man. She has also ruled in favor of discrimination against whites, regardless of what the Constitution has to say. This is to be expected from someone who is a member of the racist group La Raza, as mentioned in her bio from the American Bar Association. For more on La Raza and her association with those anti-American racists, take a trip over to Townhall blogger Gunny G’s “Anti-Liberal Zone.” Will any of the Republican Senators have the squirrel food to bring up her racism during her confirmation hearings? I doubt it. The White House is even warning the GOP Senators to be careful in how they oppose her. That sounds like a threat, which is par for the course when Obama is concerned.

Mark Davis is a nationally-known radio talk show host and newspaper columnist in Dallas/Ft Worth. His Mark Davis Show is aired from 8:30-noon central time on WBAP 820 AM, and he occasionally guest hosts for Rush Limbaugh. Mark is a solid conservative, but is very fair with his criticisms, meaning that he will take either side to task, but will also listen to all viewpoints and give credit where credit is due. His column following the Sotomayor nomination gives us another reality check on this issue.

While we’re discussing racists, the NAACP is up in arms again because some NASCAR fans happen to be proud Southerners. Dear racist NAACP-types, that flag is a symbol of Southern pride and states rights, not slavery. It is the flag of the ARMED FORCES of the Confederacy, in which quite a few free blacks fought. If you’re going to protest against something, at least know what you’re doing. Heck, even the ACLU says you don’t have anything to stand on with this, with the possible exception of the shakedown artist tactics that made Jesse-Be-The-Jackson famous.

Another racist was on display this week in the Philadelphia area. A woman faked a carjacking/kidnapping of herself and one of her children in order to skip town after stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from a law firm. When she made the 9-1-1 call, she said that the perps were black. Why do white people who fake crimes always say that the fictional perp is a black man? Even though black males are statistically more likely to be involved in serious crimes than any other demographic, that is no excuse for that kind of racism that could land an INNOCENT person in prison.

Ginny gets another hat tip with this article detailing another reason that King Barack I picked Sotomayor for the Supreme Court. She does not believe that the 2nd Amendment applies to private citizens. In other words, the Affirmative Action SCOTUS pick and the Affirmative Action Attorney General BOTH want to take away your rights to own firearms.

Sotomayor also does not believe that the 1st Amendment applies to high school students’ freedom of expression outside of school. Can someone please give an example of a decision of her’s that was in accordance with the Constitution?

It looks like there is a politician in the state of Georgia who wishes to possibly become a member of The Swamp’s own American Tradition Party if The Crawfish reads this story correctly. The closing of this loophole would probably require a Constitutional Amendment, but it would easily pass through the required ¾ of state legislatures. The only opposition would come from the far left and racist anti-American groups like La Raza, which means Sonia Sotomayor would oppose it.

We have another “moderate” Republican who became a member of the Obama Cabinet running around bragging that he will “coerce people out of their cars.” Just where does this Administration find the authority to attempt to modify the behavior of the people of our nation at their whims?

Well, it is the beginning of the end for conservative bloggers, as the Obama Administration is going to name another czar. His Majesty King Barack I is angering some Democrats in Noo Yawk by injecting himself into the state’s Democratic primary election for US Senator. He supports the hand-picked successor to Hillary! and personally called the Congressman who was going to contest that seat, telling him to stay out of that race.

Did any of you actually take a look at the list of Chrysler dealerships that are going to be closed? Well, some people noticed a couple of patterns and followed up on them. It seems that dealerships in areas that voted for McCain are disproportionately getting cut. It also seems that dealerships who’s owners gave money to the GOP and/or the McCain campaign are getting cut in large numbers, while those owned by Democrat backers are all safe. Obama will do everything he can to punish anybody who dared to oppose him. If these accusations are true, The Crawfish can easily see the dealerships on the cut list going to federal court to get an emergency injunction against Chrysler. This situation could become a BIG mess for the Democrats and The Golden Child.

Surprisingly, the terrorists known as Hezbollah and their Iranian masters are upset at the Obama Administration for interfering in Hezbollah’s attempt to take over the government of Lebanon. If it is true that the Administration is working against the terrorist group, then The Crawfish applauds the Administration. I’m just surprised that Obama would oppose the terroristic so-called religion called Islam.

I’m glad that Bibi Netanyahu is defying The Chosen One and continuing to expand the settlements in the West Bank. The entire West Bank is rightfully Israeli property as spoils of war from 1968 and 1973. If the so-called “Palestinians” want a nation of their own, it should be carved out of arab lands.

Does Queen of the House Red Nanny P-Lousy really believe that she will be allowed to have nothing else to say in the controversy between her and the CIA? She is showing an obscene amount of arrogance in this matter, and her fellow Democrats are circling the wagons in a massive cover-up. The President really does support average Americans, especially the little guy, right? Well, just ask the children from Conway Elementary School in Stafford County, VA. The Chosen One also said in his Memorial Day Weekend address that America needs to honor and respect our veterans and war dead, which “all too often in recent years and decades, we, as a nation, have failed to live up to that responsibility. We have failed to give them the support they need or pay them the respect they deserve.” Could he be talking about his Homeland Security Ditz calling veterans right wing extremist terrorist wanna-bes? Could he be talking about the folks at moveon who took out the full page “General Betray Us” ad? Could he be talking about his own party? Could he be talking about his own plans to use the military as a social experiment to raise the public reputation and self-esteem of the heterophobes?

President Obama is expected to name His nominee for the Supreme Court this week. According to the report from CNN He has said, “What I want is not just ivory tower learning,” He said. “I want somebody who has the intellectual fire power, but also a little bit of a common touch and has a practical sense of how the world works.” He added, “Those criteria of common sense, practicality, a sense of what ordinary Americans are going through every day — putting that in the mix, when the judges are looking at cases before them, it’s very important.” In other words, He wants another “progressive” who believes that the actual words of the Constitution don’t matter. The Constitution must change with the times and be a “living breathing” document. We have already seen The Chosen One call the Constitution a “flawed document” so The Crawfish fully expects His nominee to be a clone of Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

The media is really enjoying the opportunities being presented by all of the liberal “Republicans” (always referred to as “moderate”), as they publicly denounce the conservatives who stand FOR the Constitution and sound policies on national defense and fiscal matters. This time it is CNN reporting on liberal Tom Ridge’s attacks on Rush Limbaugh. Do these liberal “Republicans” want the far left Democrats to continue to win, or do they want to have a chance in the elections of 2010 and 2012?

Colin Powell even hit the Sunday shows to try to claim that he is still a Republican, even though he endorsed Obama, and to claim that the GOP is going far to the right, even though the last two GOP Presidential nominees have been essentially early 1960s Democrats. Nobody who could endorse the most far left candidate that the Democrats have ever put forth can call himself a “centrist” or a real “Republican.”

Wow. I warned you that these columns would be lengthy for a while and this week’s news more than justify the heft of this edition. For us bloggers, the Obama/Pelosi/Reid Troika is the gift that keeps on giving.

We start with some sad news for my brothers and sisters in Naval Aviation. An HH-60H Seahawk helicopter from the USS Nimitz crashed in the ocean near San Diego. All five on board were lost. The two that the story mentions as still missing are probably the pilots, since they were strapped into the cockpit. The normal crew is four, but there were three aircrewmen in the cabin instead of the usual two because they were getting one young lad (would have turned 21 in June) qualified as a Search And Rescue Swimmer. As for the flight data recorder mentioned in the article, The Crawfish was until recently an avionics technician on Navy H-60s and can attest that there is no such item on those aircraft.

The more powerful the Democrat, the more hysterical the attempted lies. First, we had “I did not have sexual relations with that woman, Miss Lewinsky.” That was followed by “I was for the war before I was against it” and “I really am a war hero in spite of all the evidence the Swift Boat guys have.” Then we had Queen of the House Red Nanny P-Lousy trying to say that she was never briefed by the CIA in the briefing sessions conducted by the CIA that she attended. Now we have Gaffes Biden trying to say that the secret underground bunker at the Naval Observatory that he so vividly described was never described by him. He was just talking about the guest quarters upstairs at the Naval Observatory. Sorry, but the guest quarters upstairs are not behind a massive steel door with an elaborate lock and down a hall lines with shelves and secure communications equipment. Do they really believe that the American people are THAT STOOOOPID? Wait…a lot of the people DID vote for Obama/Biden, so it is conceivable that the people really are that stoooopid.

Those same people were stoooopid enough to believe Obama when he promised that there would be transparency and accountability in government and in the spending of the “stimulus” funds. The Crawfish could have told them that The Chosen One’s “transparency” filter was gonna be completely opaque.

The Weirdbeards in Indonesia are trying to ban Facebook or at least get their fellow Followers of the False Prophet to avoid Facebook because they’re scared that Facebook activity could lead to extramarital affairs. The Crawfish guesses that would cause the local livestock to get lonely.

This is the kind of story that gets included in these columns because I love pointing out horrid decision making, and his appointment was one of the worst decisions of 2008, ranking right behind the GOP’s nomination of John McLame.

While this is a very good step in the right direction for the Obama Administration, it does come with some troubling undertones. The Administration people say that this is part of a plan to crackdown on illegal aliens who commit crimes rather than those who live here peacefully. Earth to Democrats: all ILLEGAL aliens are CRIMINALS, so deport ALL OF THEM!

Dear Homeland Security Ditz Napolitano, even the ones who live here peacefully and have jobs are still a danger to the rest of us. Deport all of them!

Even more unsettling are the actions of the Mexican drug cartels on OUR side of the border. What will it take for this Administration to realize that the border needs to be sealed off and the illegals need to be deported?

More academic economists are advocating increases in inflation to help people ameliorate their debt and to get the economy going. Exactly how does jacking up prices, and therefore my cost of living, leaving me LESS money per paycheck in my bank account going to help me pay off debt faster? Academics with 6 figure paychecks and multi-million dollar portfolios simply have no clue as to how the real world operates.

Here we go again with another 1,000 page bill that the Democrats are ramming through at light speed in order to get it passed before anybody can report to the people what it really means, and before any Congresscritters can actually READ it. This bill will wreck large portions of the economy and will increase electricity bills dramatically. The Heritage Foundation did a study of the bill to determine its impact, and the results ain’t pretty at all. Candidate Obama promised no tax increases on people making less than $250,000.00 per year, and has already broken that promise repeatedly. While this bill technically isn’t a tax on those people, it does cause them to spend a lot more money on one of life’s necessities while most of that money will go to the gummint, so it works like a tax.

While we’re jacking up prices, The Chosen One now is putting forth plans to force auto manufacturers to dramatically increase fuel mileage on all cars and light trucks sold in the US by 2016. This plan will, by their own estimates, raise the cost to the consumer by over $1300.00 per vehicle. It will cause the vehicles to be of types that the American consumer does not want, since smaller vehicles don’t have the room for American families and all of the stuff we lug around. It will also mean that the vehicles we will purchase will be much less safe than the vehicles we currently are able to purchase. Yes, President Obama is really looking out for Americans, by raping our wallets and making us less safe.

If the Obamites are going to run the auto industry, they’re gonna have to do a better job of hiring and firing people, since Rick Wagoner, who Obama fired as the CEO of GM seven weeks ago, is still officially on the payroll. They haven’t figured out how to get rid of him without paying the $20,000,000.00 severance package in his contract.

The current plan for General Motors is quite disturbing. Evidently, the healthy assets of the company are going to be sold to a new corporation that will initially be owned by the imperial socialist government, but will eventually be sold with a very large chunk being sold to the union. The unhealthy parts of the company will go into bankruptcy. The part that is union-owned will, of course, become very much UNHEALTHY in a rapid manner because of that union dominance.

The Detroit News is reporting that the Obama Administration is going to pour another $7,500,000,000.00 into GM in order to take majority control. This is yet another example of the definition of SOCIALISM.

Another (c)rapper gets murdered in El Lay, and the downside is? He couldn’t spell the word “dollar”, was part of a recording company that couldn’t spell their own name (Akon’s Konvict Muzik), wore his hat like a moronic gang banger, and didn’t know how a MAN wears his hair. His so-called music was filled with profanity and explicit sexual content. These are the kind of folks that get glorified by today’s American pop culture. Good riddance.

Speaking of good riddance, at least the line is moving in The Crawfish’s home state of TEXAS. Another murderer got the needle in the nation’s most active death chamber down in Huntsville. The only problem The Crawfish has with the execution is that the crime was committed 23 years ago. There was a retrial in 1995 for some reason, but he should not have seen New Years 1997.

Some people are still under the impression that His Majesty King Barack I and the Affirmative Action Attorney General are going to support the Constitution of the United States and uphold the 2nd Amendment. Their support for an international treaty that would mandate gun control and create an international database of registered gun owners says otherwise. On the other hand, within the credit card bill that passed this week was an amendment that allows firearms to be carried into national parks. That amendment received over 100 votes from Democrats in the House, so there is still hope for the Constitution.

Okay, here’s the deal. If you were born with male appendages, you are a male. If you were born with the female parts, you are female. I don’t care what your mental deficiencies are. Last weekend, The Crawfish presented the story about American taxpayer money going to China to teach prostitutes how to drink properly. Well, even more of YOUR money is going to asian prostitutes now, as the National Institutes of Health is spending $178,000.00 to figure out why drug abusing prostitutes in Thailand have a higher risk of HIV infection. They could have given The Crawfish 1/3 of that money and I would have produced a comprehensive report in less than three pages that would have given them all the answers.

King Barack’s nominee to be the top legal advisor for the State Department is at it again with his crusade to make our Constitution subservient to laws from the rest of the world. How does an idiot like this become the head of Yale’s law school, and why do liberals hate our Constitution?
